About Us

Stacy Mapleton

I’ve been organizing my whole life, starting from the time I was a child categorizing and making lists of my Halloween candy and sorting my pennies by year.  I’ve had experience organizing in my own home as we moved across the country (from MI to MN to NC to CA) and raised children, and for my mom who downsized from her house to ours.  I’ve been involved with setting up small business warehouse and offices for the last 15 years. I was inspired to start Stacy Sorts in the fall of 2020 when I was re-evaluating my career options and looking for something more personally fulfilling. I absolutely love connecting with clients, helping them out of overwhelming situations and making their lives better through improving their physical spaces.

I have an MBA and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering which is a discipline that concerns itself with efficiency & productivity.  In the corporate world, I was a Business Analyst, implementing IT computer systems.  In small businesses, I worked in Finance and Operations.  I enjoy problem-solving challenging spaces, figuring out the most functional homes for objects, and analyzing how to maximize storage. I also love color-coding books and sorting through junk drawers.

I have been married to a great & supportive guy for 32 years. We raised 3 wonderful daughters in Temecula. I love reading , walking, hiking , cooking and listening to music

I was featured in a decluttering segment on Spirit of Innovation’s December 2021 news episode.
